TYLER CHASE PHOTOGRAPHY
Member since 2018
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA where I danced ballet semi-professionally until I was 18, when I left for NYC to study photography and acting. I quickly fell in love with the city's fashion scene, which influenced my style of photography tremendously. I moved back to LA after school because, let's be real, New York was just way too cold! Since returning to the West Coast, photography has evolved from a passion to a career, and I can't believe how lucky I am to be doing something I love so much.
If you ask my friends to describe me, they would probably say that I'm obsessed with my french bulldog, donuts, and pineapples! They might also say that I'm caring, laid back, and goofy.... but not before frenchies and donuts. I describe my style of photography as ethereal, organic portraiture, with an editorial twist. I am constantly watching for candid, spontaneous moments of genuine emotion and true love. I strive to capture laughter and a sense of ease in my photos that reflect the real you on your big day. My goal is for you to relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding day. I'll be there every set of the way. I'll hold your hand and wipe away all the happy tears. Just think of me as another bridesmaid!
I am a full time wedding and lifestyle photographer, currently living in Marina del Rey, CA with my fiancé and our french bulldog, Dunken.

REAL CLIENT REVIEWS:
"In the rush of the afternoon and the swirl of the evening, I couldn't see the detailed beauty (the details that I spent so much time and money to be perfect) that my wedding turned out to be. I didn't see the lush rose petal aisle that my 3 year old son walked me down, I didn't see the framed family photos arranged between bundled flowers in the antique bar brought in and staged in the field in front of the vineyards, I didn't see the shy smiles of the flower girls while standing up to give us toasts, I didn't see my wild yet calm eyes and "success" grin as I walked away with my husband. But Tyler did. She embodied the feeling (even my momentary pre-ceremony freak out), love, and energy that I had envisioned for my wedding day... in her photos! More than capturing both the big picture and the details, Tyler was organized, time-aware, discreet but always there, and knew how and when to anticipate those important moments. Tyler's eye is the lens from which I want to see life. Some photographers document and maybe even capture the moment. Tyler's photos allow me to relive the moments, feelings, and the beauty of my wedding day every time I look at my living room walls, which are covered by the emotions and images from my truly magical day. I flew Tyler out to Sonoma from LA because photos were the one thing, the one lasting thing (in addition to my actual marriage) that refused to risk being anything but perfect. And having shot with Tyler several times in the past, I was positive that she would deliver. If I could have her document my entire life, I would!" -Laurel
